The Beauly Firth is teeming with wildlife. Bottlenosed Dolphins, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Curlew and Shelduck and the Common Seal can all be seen and heard from our caravans, which are (ideally!) within 10ft of the shore – handy for a fishing rod.3 miles away in North Kessock, a small marine Wildlife Research Base monitors dolphins and seals through sightings as well as underwater microphones. Pop in and have a listen! Why not take a boat excursion to see the wildlife, www.dolphintripsavoch.co.uk or if you like to be up-close and personal, try a trip to Black Isle Wildlife Park, a 10 minute drive from our caravans. There you can see scottish wildlife, and some truly un-scottish wildlife, Zig and Zag the Zebra!
